One login, many organizations
Your account is not tied to a single organization. The same login can belong to several: a consultant working with two campaigns, a reseller’s staff member helping a client organization, or someone who was invited to a second organization after they were already active in their first. Each organization you belong to is a separate membership with its own role and its own brand access. Your permissions in one organization come only from your membership there. Being an owner in one organization never gives you elevated access in another; each membership stands on its own. If you only ever use one organization, nothing here changes for you. Existing accounts keep their current organization as their default and only organization until someone invites them elsewhere.Switching organizations
If you belong to more than one organization, the account menu in the top right, under your name and email, lists them. Pick one to reload the app in that organization. Everything on screen after you switch, projects, contacts, billing, branding, and users, belongs to the organization you switched to. The dashboard never blends data from two organizations at once. The platform remembers your last-used organization per device sign-in, so the next time you log in on that device, you land back where you left off.My Organizations
Your Profile page has a My Organizations section (/profile#organizations) that lists every membership you hold:
- A role badge for each organization.
- Current marks the organization you’re viewing right now.
- Default marks the organization you land in when you sign in.
- A Switch button to jump to that organization directly from the list.
- A Leave action for memberships you no longer need.
- Pending invitations, with Accept and Decline buttons and an expiry date. An invitation expires 14 days after it’s sent.
Leaving an organization
Leaving removes your membership and access to that organization. Two situations stop you, both with a plain explanation instead of a silent failure:- You’re the organization’s only owner. Transfer ownership to someone else first (see below), then leave.
- It’s your default organization. Switch your default to a different organization first, then leave.
Inviting existing accounts
On the Users page, anyone with the Manage members permission can add people to the organization in two ways. Invite existing user is for someone who already has a Political Comms login somewhere else on the platform. Enter their email and pick a role:- If they already belong to an organization in your own hierarchy (for example, a sibling client organization under the same agency), access is granted immediately. No invitation step.
- Otherwise, they get a pending invitation: an in-app notification and an email. They accept or decline it from their own Profile page, and it expires after 14 days if they do neither.
