What is The Campaign Registry (TCR)?
The Campaign Registry (TCR) is the central hub where Campaign Service Providers (CSPs) register brands and campaigns for the 10DLC messaging ecosystem. 10DLC stands for “10-Digit Long Code” - standard local phone numbers (like 347-555-1234) used for Application-to-Person (A2P) text messaging. Think of TCR as the gatekeeper that verifies organizations are legitimate before allowing them to send high-volume messages. This protects consumers from spam and scams while giving legitimate senders a clear path to reliable messaging.Why 10DLC registration exists

10DLC registration process (political organizations)
Note for consulting firms: Each candidate or campaign you manage requires its own brand registration. Individual candidates register one brand for themselves. Consulting firms managing multiple candidates will complete this process for each client (brand), with each brand able to have multiple campaigns underneath it.
Setup Brand ($4.50 per brand)
Register each candidate/campaign as a separate brand with The Campaign Registry. Provide the candidate’s legal name, EIN/Tax ID, physical address, and active website with privacy policy and terms. Brand registration is instant. Consulting firms will register one brand per client.
Vet Brand with Campaign Verify ($95 per brand)
Each brand (candidate/campaign) must get verified through Campaign Verify. You can either bring an existing Campaign Verify token or submit the verification request directly inside Political Comms. Our integration handles the FEC or state election filing record submission for you. Verification typically completes in ~2 hours on business days. Each token is valid for 1 year and is specific to that candidate.
Create Campaign ($30 for 3 months, then $10/month per campaign)
Register campaigns under each brand (e.g., “GOTV 2024”, “Fundraising Outreach”). A single brand can have multiple campaigns. Include sample message scripts and campaign description. Campaigns typically approve in 2 business days (faster if expedited).
Add Phone Number
Provision phone numbers and assign them to your approved campaign. Phone number costs vary based on your pricing tier. Numbers are ready to use immediately once campaign is approved.
